The Need
This Easter, we invite you to join forces with us to provide all daily meals for 160 children who have been removed from their family environment and are living in institutional child protection care.
For these children, care and stability cannot be taken for granted. Yet a nutritious meal is more than food — it is security, dignity, and a tangible expression of love
At Mazi gia to Paidi | Together for Children, one of our main goals is to ensure that every child has access to dignified living conditions. We work closely with organizations that care for and support children, so that they never feel alone.
Our Goal
With your valuable support, our goal is to raise €20,000 in order to support 160 children for one month.
The beneficiary child protection institutions will be able to purchase food through supermarket vouchers from major retail chains, ensuring the children’s daily meals.
About the “Reducing Inequalities” Program
The “Reducing Inequalities” program was launched in 2012 to support child protection institutions. Over 200 organizations across Greece participate in the program, which helps approximately 18,000 children annually by providing food, necessities, school supplies, toys, clothing, footwear, and furniture.
The program aims to reduce socioeconomic inequalities and create better living conditions for children and their families while also improving the infrastructure of these institutions. Donations are collected at Together for Children’s facilities year-round, in collaboration with schools, private-sector companies, individual donors, and the Food Bank. These supplies are then evaluated, sorted, and distributed to partner organizations nationwide, based on their specific needs.
About Together for Children
Together for Children has been working since 1996 to protect thousands of children in our country. It offers a wide range of services to ensure that every child in every corner of Greece has access to sustainable living conditions and equal opportunities. Its work focuses on poverty alleviation, health and mental health, education, as well as support for populations affected by natural disasters.
Together for Children is a Non-Profit Civil Partnership operating on the principles of financial transparency. It relies on resources from corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and the organization of cultural, sports, and other events in Greece and abroad.
